About /dev/world

Important Update: In light of the continued uncertainty the world faces with Covid-19, we are rolling all three annual events (X World, /dev/world, and CreateWorld) into a single online event known as EveryWorld. Learn more at the EveryWorld web site.

Australia’s longest-running conference for macOS and iOS developers and designers, /dev/world/2019, returns to Melbourne on 2-4 September 2019! Celebrating our twelfth year, we’re still working to build an inclusive community of enthusiasts; from creatives to scientists, from hobbyists to die-hards, /dev/world/2019 is about coming together to share and learn.

The conference sessions cover a wide range of topics including the iOS SDK, OS X frameworks, Apple and third-party development tools, and open source software. The conference also provides developers with an opportunity to meet and network with others working in the same space.

/dev/world is open to the public and will be held at the RMIT Swanston Academic Building, 80/445 Swanston St, Melbourne.
